Ah. Well, that made some.. sense. The individual in front of him did seem a tad diminutive.. The fact that he was trying to learn how to fight was an ambitious thing. It might have just helped for him to pay off a few stronger individuals to beat it into the others. But Kazuya strongly doubted that the youth would be persuaded by such a method.

"Well, for one.. They have numbers on you. So, learning to fight is a step, but there are things that you need to learn to take that step and turn it into the whole way. What do you know about knives?"

A kind of odd, halfways smile crept across Kazuya's lips. One that was not entirely happy so much as perversely amused. Perhaps he was playing a joke on Tomako, or perhaps he was being completely serious. It was a gamble.
