Just take it, will you?!
WHO: Ayumu and Emi
WHAT: Ayumu finds Emi to 1) get rid of this autograph and 2) Figure out just why everyone is telling him to find her.
WHEN: A Wednesday after school, after Tanabata
WHERE: On the middle school premise
WHY: BECAUSE IF HE DOESN'T GET RID OF THIS AUTOGRAPH, CRAZED FANGIRLS WILL ATTACK HIM.

Ayumu was in a rather sulky mood. It had been nearly two months since the surly uncute blonde girl asked him to get his brother's autograph for her mom, and it was a few days after finding out that the surly uncute blonde girl was someone that a strange senpai told him to find. And that the autograph was most likely for herself. Who it was for in the end, Ayumu couldn't really care. He was just the middle man. (Imagine that, a king as the middle man! Hideki-nii must really be enjoying that thought damn him.) The only thing he got out of it was the occasional batch of cookies, or--in the case of Hayashi Emi-chan--strawberry milk and a bendy straw.

Finally deciding that the autograph was tainting his dorm room and it needed to be gone, Ayumu did the brave thing and carried it in his bag all day during school. He suspected that girls could probably sense it because they kept giving him sideways glances. And after asking around the first-year classrooms for the surly, uncute, blonde Hayashi Emi, he was finally pointed in a direction where he could most likely find her.

A king never chases after girls: He methodologically searches for them.

Emi's mood was probably just as sulky. However, that was nothing new for her. Her sulkiness usually reared its head as grumpiness, and for the past few... who knew how long now (she certainly wasn't counting) she had stayed grumpy. In between her grades and the issues of that world, she felt her grumpiness was justified more often than not. It was always either miss the groups meeting because of school, or slack behind in her work because of them. It wasn't like it mattered if she went to the meetings or not. The information learned at them was rarely directly useful to her. She helped them in the one way she could in that world and she liked being involved, but everything else outside seemed to pertain more to the high schoolers than herself. For example: the fact that they could now tell if someone was a potential persona user. She never thought much of the other people around the middle school, so she seriously doubted she find anyone herself. Really that was all just as well. She needed to focus on her work.

Usually after school she could be easily found waiting around for her father to pick her up, but he had told her that he was going to be a bit late that day. Why? She wasn't sure. She never really bothered to question him, and it didn't really matter to her as long as he showed up eventually. What she was more concerned with at that moment was her history grade, so she was spending her extra time at school in the library rather than her classroom. The classroom was just too noisy and the library... well, sometimes it wasn't much better depending on who else was there after school, but it was at least somewhat better.

At that current time it was especially quiet, because it seemed like all of the usually noisy kids all had clubs of some sort. Oh, how she was thankful she had avoided joining any clubs herself. With a calm sigh, she turned another page of the book she was reading. Yep. Nothing was going to distract her from her work.

Just to be sure he was going to go harass visit the correct short, surly, uncute blonde girl, Ayumu watched her for a few seconds from around a book shelf. Yep, it certainly looked like the one that requested the autograph all right. And, hoping that she really was Hayashi Emi so he wouldn't have to go off in search of another uncute girl. Well, at least when she had no expression on her face her forehead didn't wrinkle, so that was some points more towards cute. But Airi-chan was still the best.

So, pulling the autograph from his bag as he rounded the bookshelf, Ayumu wordlessly snapped it down onto the table--half covering her book with it. In the same motion, he slipped into the chair across the table from her and waited patiently. And while it might have been a bit rude not to address her properly and hand the "precious commodity" over to her, but she had made him look for her and never came to get it so... He didn't have to treat the stupid autograph nicely.
