Kazuya had been sitting on one of the park's benches, a book in hand. He honestly hadn't checked the book's title in hours, and was far too enraptured within the story to bother with that for the moment. It was something of a better book than the usual, with a structured plot line and characters that he could relate to! Ah, but that was what one wanted to do most. To be able to reflect on one's own situation with theirs, to cross-sympathize. Stories of manipulation, treachery, love, fate, and almost inevitably, violence. It was always a saddening matter to finish a book, or to see a character pass on.. Although it was a work of fiction, he had imagined them, imagined their voices.. They had been real in their own way, hadn't they? As it was, he still had a good chunk of story to go through, and intended to enjoy it while he could!
Although, his few moments of mental reverence for successful pieces of novelity was rather sharply broken by four words spoken fairly quietly, no less. He looked up slowly enough, inspecting the female that was before him. She looked a bit short, but then again, he wasn't really one to judge. It occurred to him that he shouldn't be judging someone on the first basis by height.. But that mental debate was flickered away as he nodded quietly.
