Who: Misaki and open
What: Job hunting
Where: Cosplay Cafe, because you knew it was bound to happen
When: Around the same time on Friday when Toru's getting his big surprise
Why: She wants to make Maeko proud and show she's not that much of an airhead.

Why is finding a job so hard! You would think that I could have just gotten on at the fabric store, but they won't hire high school students, Misaki sighed some and licked at the ice cream cone she had bought. It wasn't much, just to hold her over till dinner, which she had to make and it got her to wonder what they could have. Nothing too much for Maeko-chan, I want something a bit hot but sweet. But where to buy it and what exactly to make.

She was daydreaming of the various korean dishes she knew about and not really paying mind where she was wandering. Streets turned and twisted, but she had some semblance of how to get back to the school. Nanamako was easy to spot from just about every corner of the city. It wouldn't be that hard to get back. It was only when she turned her head that she noticed an interesting looking cafe nestled in with some other buildings. There was something familiar about it, yet different at the same time. It was, charming, in a way that she only felt when watching a good Anime.

Crossing the street Misaki glanced at the name, " Barabara Rakuen" the name was something she'd seen before but...

I wonder...well I need some lunch anyway.

Walking inside Misaki held in a gasp and covered her mouth. Costumes...the costumes were amazing. So many diffent ones and they were all so well made that she had to suppress a squeal of delight. It was like walking into one of her favorite shows. A smile, a genuine one for the first time in a week, crept onto her face as she looked around for a seat. She was almost skipping to a table and quickly sat down to play with her bag then rooted around for the camera she always kept with her to find new styles to try out. Glancing at the people the pink haired freshman sighed. "It would be amazing if I could work here..."

Friday afternoon/evening was usually pretty busy at Barabara, but today was a little quieter than usual--or, at least, there were fewer Nanakamado uniforms around than usual. The gossip going around pointed to something about that cute Ishinomori boy Haruka had met a few weeks ago and a secret admirer--ah, young love! She had no doubt that whatever was going on, it would be utterly adorable, and the news would spread like wildfire.

Her section was more or less taken care of for the moment--or, at least, everyone there was occupied with food or conversation--so Haruka was taking two minutes in the back to rest her poor, exhausted feet and get a glass of water. She felt like she'd barely sat down, though, when another of the girls, 'Yukarin' (actually Hirasawa Nanami, a third-year at a different school), gave her shoulder a nudge. "Hey, Haru-chan, you've got a one-top. Girl. Have fun." With a heavy pat on Haruka's shoulder, she wandered back over to her own section.

Haruka adjusted her cat ears (it was kemonomimi day, and all the servers were in animal-type costumes of varying degrees of elaborateness; she herself had gone for the classic catgirl look) and hurried over to the now-occupied table. The girl sitting at it looked vaguely familiar; she knew she'd seen that pink hair somewhere... "Welcome to Barabara Rakuen, nyaa~" She held up the pad and did a cute little pose. "What can I start you off with?"

Misaki gasped when a girl with cat ears came over in a classic kemonomimi look. She was so adorable that Misaki just wanted to give her a big hug, but she would wait till later. Her 'nyaa~' was perfect too, and the pink haired freshman was impressed. Giggling some happily she grinned, "Thank you so much, I love your costume by the way. It's perrrrfectly adorable. I have to say you're one of the best kemonomimi's I've seen in a long while."

"This place is amazing, I've just been to the Devil's Torte once, and really it seems really well, put on. I really like the set up you have here. It feels like such a nice place to work, you really must enjoy it here," Misaki gushed some then blushed, "Um...sorry, I bet you hear this all the time. Um...can I get a small marble cake if that's okay?"

The pose was adorable too, this girl really knew how to play a character. Misaki looked at her with wonder, and just inspiration. "Sorry if I'm staring too much it's just, this place just...I really like it. I've never felt so comfortable before."
