Maeko squeezed Misaki's hand, trying to think of something to say. 'It's just because of your age' seemed correct and reasonable but also generic and not at all helpful.

"You shouldn't worry about it too much. It's probably just your age." She said, deciding to say it anyway. In all honestly, she was terrified but trying very hard not to show it. This coming up was something she'd dreaded, something that she wasn't capable of protecting Misaki from and something that could easily make Misaki just find someone else.

"I'm not sure about that." She offered. "Sorry."
