It was a battle of wills. Only one could come out the victor, one would triumph, one would fail. Unfortunately for Kazuya, the textbook had better positioning, whilst he was stuck with the moral high ground. It was only inevitable that staring at the page in some attempt to generate a correct answer wouldn't do much more than make it all the more puzzling. Perhaps he was making it too difficult? The lesson had been learned, and the information seemed easy enough to apply.. But the question, once more, had confounded him in all regards. It couldn't be some kind of trick, could it? An err in the text, meant to fool him? Well. It didn't seem to be that way.
Resting his elbow against the surface of the desk he sat at (the desk itself identical to so many more that lie scattered about the library proper) he scanned the the nearby crowds for something fresh to cast away the frustration. There were quite a few scattered individuals, looking for books, lounging, talking silently with each other, or working.. He even could spot a few that looked recognizable. It was a nice gathering place, he mused. A sanctum from the loud, and a place of study and quiet. Even the most frustrated of people could find a place to reflect, here. It was an atmosphere to be comfortable in, wasn't it? And a place to study people. You could tell a lot about someone from the kind of books they read, or the time they spent doing so.
