Maeko held her shoes upright and tapped the heels against the bottom of her shoe locker twice. No pins. There hadn't been pins for years now but it didn't hurt to check. She put her outside schools on, placing the indoor ones in the locker to wear tomorrow. She'd noticed the envelope in Kou's hand but was paying little attention to it. She doubted it was adressed to Misaki and so it was none of her business.
She glanced up at the ceiling again, quickly inspecing it for cracks. She knew there weren't any, it wasn't real. But it had felt real and seeing a building she'd spent as much time in as her own home fall like that was strange. She was suddenly very glad that those things that imitated them liked to change forms before they fought. Seeing the school fall was affecting her even though it wasn't the school. Having to murder a comrade even if it wasn't really a comrade...
...well Reizo would probably be capable of it. She could just not watch and not listen.
"Oubai-san." She said, remembering she had a message for him. She had meant to pass it on in class tomorrow but now was as good a time as any. "The Anti-Bullying club isn't meeting up at lunchtimes anymore until the end of the week. Hamasaki-sensei says he needs to take a few days off and we're not really supposed to do anything if he's not here. The club room'll still be open, though, so if you want to eat lunch there you can."
