Who: Shi-chan and Mi-chan
What: Night walk around town
When: Evening after resting in the hot spring, during the trip
Where: Just around the hotel before they call in for lights out
Why: Because Misaki wants to make up for that afternoon's bus ride.

{A note discovered in Shiori's bag}

Dear Shiori-chan, I want to make up for getting you mad on the bus, will you meet me outside before we have to go to bed? I just want to hang out. Misaki.

Misaki waited under a large maple, leaning her back against the rough bark and looking up into the branches at the pattern in the moonlight. She pulled out her small camera and took a quick picture of it noting to try to re capture the pattern for a dress or a skirt at home. Pushing her hair back she waited for Shiori to come down. Misaki hoped that she had gotten the note that Misaki left for her in her bag before they got off the bus. The younger girl played with her skirt some, and she looked at the shadows on the ground. The moon was so high she couldn't believe that people had actually walked on it.

Placing her hand up she pretended to be cupping it and giggled saying, "By the power of the moon, I transform!" Nothing happened, she didn't expect it to, but still Misaki sighed some. It was funny, she loved shows where the girl gained powers and could deal with what was bothering her. But the real her..she was always making people run away from her. Misaki wasn't sure why that was, but she didn't want that to happen anymore. And not with Shiori, she seemed like a really nice girl.

Sitting down Misaki waited and looked over her pictures. She only had a few, but she wanted more so that she could have a wall in her room devoted to her friends. Waiting for Shiori was the hard part in this, talking to her was going to be the easy part.

Initially, Shiori had entered her room completely knackered from the day's activities. Though it hadn't seemed like she had done all that much, she was, for whatever reason, exhausted. Having found the note after she had put on her PJs (a pair of yellow shorts and a tank top - she got hot easily at night) while she had searched for her toothbrush, Shiori had regained her energy rather quickly. Deciding against changing into something else (or putting on shoes), Shiori had padded through the hotel to the place where Aoi wanted to meet her.

And there they were.

Hesitating for a moment, Shiori watched Aoi look through her pictures. She really hoped it wasn't going to be a serious discussion, or one that wasn't going to be like the one they had on the bus at least. She really didn't need to get upset this late at night, or else she wouldn't be able to sleep. Besides, she had come to apologize too.

"Aoi-chan, hello!" Shiori said, putting on a grin as she walked over. "You weren't waiting long, were you?"

Misaki turned and rushed over to Shiori then hugged her tightly and smiled, "No, I wasn't waiting too long....um...Shiori-chan...I just wanted to say I'm sorry for how I was acting on the bus. I didn't mean to upst you."

She heistated some knowing that Shiori might not forgive her too fast. She didn't blame her, "Maybe we can walk around before lights out? just the two of us, if you're okay with it."

Returning the hug just as tightly, Shiori frowned as she released Aoi.

"I'm sorry too, Aoi-chan. I shouldn't have freaked out on you like I did," she said, bowing low as she apologized. Tucking her hair back as she straightened, she added, "I mean... I do like Keiichi. But I don't think he likes me back. And... he seemed kind of stressed last time I met with him. I don't want to add on to that stress."

She smiled weakly before brightening as Aoi suggested they walk around. Nodding eagerly, she linked her arm with Aoi.

"Yeah, that sounds great! I love walking around at night!" she said, beaming.

Misaki gave her a gentle look, "Keiichi-sempai is...odd. He probably doesn't know how to deal with all of it, and he's not used to this. But I'm sure when things calm down, maybe you can tell him...I'm sure he'd be happy to hear that you're worried about him."

She gave Shiori a snuggle. "Oh by the way, I hope that we get to be in the same tent, you can help me draw better pictures. Seee..." she showed her the picture of some tree patterns she was making, "Not real enough though...I want them to look like real leaves. I just can't seem to get it right."

Giggling as she nodded, Shiori stretched her arms in front of her with a small smile. What Aoi said was true, and certainly applied to most of the members of their little group. Most being the operative key word.

"I told him I wouldn't bring my sketchbook next time we go," Shiori said, smile turning pained as she recalled her promise. It was going to suck. She'd just have to draw a lot with Ishinomori, she supposed. "Hopefully it'll cause him less stress."

Returning the snuggle, Shiori took the picture Aoi handed to her. Looking at it with a critical eye, Shiori pointed to one of the leaves.

"It's the shading. You're making it too thick here when it should be lighter," Shiori explained, handing the picture back. "But I'll be glad to help you if we do share a tent! Oh, that'd be really fun, wouldn't it?"
