Misaki was waiting outside the store near Reizo's house. She was hoping to catch hold of Takumi-kun, after all he was the same age as the boy she had met at the shrine. Maybe they could be friends. She had left the note at the house and wondered if he would find it. She thought it would be weird if some older girl came to pick him up.

Running her hand through her hair and waited. She was excited and Misaki giggled. This was going to be an interesting day.

Having waved good-bye to his friends about a block back, Takumi had proceeded to continue down the road by himself on his way home. His favorite show, Cookiemon, was going to be on and he didn't want to miss it; it was part of the reason why he had declined his friends' invitations to hang out. He could hang out with them whenever, but Cookiemon was on at a specific time! He couldn't miss it!

Seeing his house up ahead, Takumi picked up the pace. There was always the chance could start five minutes early, or be a new episode, or-

"Misaki-neechan?" Takumi asked, slowing down in front of the girl. "What are you doing here? Are you shopping?"

Tilting his head slightly, Takumi stared at Misaki with a furrowed brow. Why would she want to go to a shrine? And have him come with? Shrines were boring and way too formal and the praying was weird. But if there was a boy there... then maybe she just wanted to help him make a friend?

Hesitatingly, he nodded.

"Umm, sure. Are you sure he's gunna be there?" Takumi asked, biting on his lower lip.

"He sounds weird, neesan," Takumi said bluntly, hand moving to adjust the strap of his backpack. What kind of kid didn't know what a lunchbox was? Or claimed to be a mouse? Unless he was really little or something, but even then... maybe he wasn't from Iburi? "But... um, I guess I can go with you," Takumi said slowly. "But I can't stay too long! Cookiemon is gunna be on and I don't wanna miss it!"

"I promise, I have to get home and watch it too," Misaki grinned and took his hand in hers. As they walked she tried to think of the best way to discribe what happened to her so as not to worry the younger boy.

"Hey Takumi-kun, can I ask you a question. I know it might sound silly, but do you think that there are things that some people can see and some people can't?" She looked at him gently, "Because the way I found this boy was odd too. I got locked in the shrine at night and he just happened to be there."

Gasping, Takumi stared up at Misaki.

"Wah, you watch it too?!" he exclaimed. "Whose your favorite? I don't really like the new season, but it's a lot better than that other anime that's popular now. Cookiemon'll always be the best!"

His enthusiasm quickly dropped when Misaki asked him the next question. He slowed, frowning at her.

"What, y-you mean like a ghost?" he asked. "And what were you doin' at the shrine at night, neesan? Don't you have a bed time?"
