The Butterfly House, for all its magical amenities, was entirely too much of a cage for Yoshi's liking. Even if what seemed like half the population of her town weren't being held hostage by a band of rogue angels (which, she found it hard to forget, they were), not being able to leave out the front door would have left her restless.
So it was that she came ambling into the garden, beach towel in hand; short of sending messages to the prisoners, lying out under the big, open sky was the best reminder she had that there was still life outside of whatever interdimensional waystation this was. That Toru had beaten her to the punch was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one.
"Hey there, you."
Maybe he faulted her for her choices before they'd lost their memories, but there was only one way to find out. She gestured at the space he'd staked out for himself.
