She looked at Kiriko for a moment, trying to gauge to what extent her friend was employing the same method. She stopped looking at her nails, at least, to try and navigate the conversation she'd (perhaps foolishly) plunged into. It needed to be said, though––she felt very strongly that it needed to be said.

Judging by… Kozue was not sure what, but she relied on her gut instinct about people, and this gut instinct told her that if Reizo did not like someone, he was not going to waste more time on them than was necessary.
