Who: Tom and open Where: Butterfly House/specifically gym When: early in the morning What: Tom is plotting, and planning, and contemplating on his plots Why: What else is he gonna do?
Tom woke up early, very early. He tried to time it so it was before the others did. He didn't expect too many people to use the gym anyways, but he wanted to get in and work out before anyone else could. He could set things up in his bedroom, and try to map out the tower as best as he could remember.
Spending his time in company still felt odd. Really the whole thing felt odd. They didn't have to work for it, they didn't have to plan the place out, they didn't have to purchase any furniture. At least when they won things in Paradise they actually won them. Here everything was provided for every need was addressed and it made him equal parts frustrated and suspicious. Why would anyone create a place where they would want for nothing and ask for nothing in exchange.
Nothing about this felt right. And without the one thing that made it feel like home, he knew he'd never be comfortable.
The others seemed happy, excited even, he wouldn't begrudge them that. He didn't think that given all there was to do in the house that they wouldn't focus on planning attacks against the enemy. That was alright. They could have fun, and when the time came he would have plans ready for them.
Course they would likely ignore those plans, but he didn't entirely mind that either.
