Who: Toshimi and Renju
Where: Library
When: After school.
What: Studying?
Why: Why not?

There was an upcoming test for the second-years, and Toshimi always tried to study as much as she could. That was what she was supposed to do, after all.

The teacher had recommended reading a certain book, and, not being able to purchase a copy, Toshimi was looking for it in the library. Toshimi looked for it on the shelf to no avail. But the book hadn't been checked out, so it was likely that somebody in the library had it.

While looking for this person, Toshimi saw another girl from 2-B, who was also part of this mysterious Anti-Bullying Club. Sonozaki Renju, wasn't it? Toshimi bowed politely and said, "Good afternoon, Sonozaki-san," quietly enough to not be totally inappropriate for a library, of course.

Renju, of course, had picked up a copy as soon as it was mentioned; even then, there had only been a few copies, which hadn't been much of a surprise. After all, Nanakamado was supposedly for the elite--of course its students would (by and large) be diligent.

There were several other books on the topic surrounding her perch at the table, but she was busy taking notes from the one in question as she was approached. The light glinted off her glasses as she looked up. This was someone she was familiar with--Nawanaka, from her own class. And, if she recalled correctly, from that club as well.

She inclined her head politely. "Good afternoon, Nawanaka-san."

She smiled at Renju. Of course, being one of the better students in the class--at least as good as Toshimi was, if not better--she had already procured a copy of the book the teacher had recommended. "May I join you?" she asked, and waited for an indication she could sit down.

"If you don't mind, would it be all right if I shared some of the books you've picked up?" She smiled even more, trying to be convincing. She normally would have simply deferred and studied another time, but the test was approaching.

	The corners of Renju's lips turned down a little, but she gestured towards the empty seat next to her regardless. Nawanaka was one of the best students in the class, and not as chatty as some people she knew; she had no expectation of being disturbed. "That's fine." And it wasn't as though she'd be using all these books all at once anyway. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Then, excuse me for intruding." She took a seat next to Renju, placed her bag on her other side, took out a pen and notebook, and set to work taking notes on one of the books.

For a while she was quiet while she studied. Then, "Um, sorry, but...do you understand this part?" She showed her book to Renju, pointing out a vaguely-worded passage. "I think I know what the author is trying to say, but I'm not sure."
