Entry tags:kou, maeko, misaki

Who: Misaki and anyone that's in the classroom or Hallway
What: Heading down the hall with a large bouquet of flowers
Where: Second Year Classroom, Nanakamado
When: Early morning, Monday after the body was discovered
Why: Because she liked Sato-senpai and wants people to remember him.

If one were to venture down the hallway that lead to the second years class rooms at Nanakamado they would automatically notice something rather peculier bobbing up and down in the form of a large floral display with a pair of cute legs in white shoes. The display was arranged on a base that was in the shape of a book, with flowers that bloomed out of it in the shapes of various literary characters from Japanese classics, modern fiction, plays from the west like Shakespere, and some random fairytales thrown in. Each was lovingly created with blossoms of varying color and size. It was clear to anyone that actually paid attention that this was the work of someone who knew the craft of flower arranging quite well and cared enough to make the details perfect.

They might also notice that the arrangement was a bit large for the person carrying it and that she swayed once in a while under the weight. Behind her, pink hair swished back and forth as the carrier made her way down to Sato-senpai's classroom. Here, before all the students that were there, the girl made her way over to his desk after looking around for a moment. He'd mentioned where he sat to her a few times during their study sessions and she grinned when she saw it. Carrying the display over the girl set it down and smiled brightly.

"There," she said and clapped her hands then bowed to the desk where the flowers were arranged. "Please accept these gifts Sato-senpai, where ever you are, I hope that you like them and they will make you smile in heaven."

"...Misa-Chan?" Maeko asked, standing in the dooray of the classroom. "Erm, what are you doing in here?"

"Huh?" Misaki turned around fast and blushed, then smiled brightly. "Oh Maeko-senpai! I didn't hear you come in. I'm sorry."

She fixed the flowers some what and then bowed once more to them before facing her senior classmate. "I just came to drop off some flowers for Sato-senpai. He told me once he wanted to see them, so I thought it might cheer his spirit up to know that I remembered. See..."

She motioned to the extravagant display, "I worked all weekend to make it perfect and used images of all the sections of the English book that we were working on. I hope that he likes it and it cheers him up, where ever he is right now."

Misaki sighed some, "He was such a nice person to me. A friend..." The younger girl shook her head and grinned, "But he's at peace now, so I'm glad about that."

Tilting her head, she looked at Maeko innocently, "Is something wrong Maeko-senpai?"

"They'll ask you to move them, you know? We're going to be gaving exams in here, they won't allow anything that could be a distraction. I won't stop you from leaving them here or anything but they'll just get thrown out when the teacher comes in."

She sighed, thinking. "It's a shame if you went to all that effort and it's just going to be thrown out before anyone even sees it. They are pretty."

Misaki paused and blinked, "They will, but...then people won't remember Sato-senpai! He was always so quiet! I really want them to remember him. Maybe...Maybe I can put them in the music room or the library. They won't distract there will they?"

She bit her lip. Sato-senpai had always been nice to her when he had helped her out. It bothered her that the school wasn't regarding his death as something important. "They should let them stay. People need to remember him."

"Just because they should doesn't mean they will. The exam results are important, I don't think they'd let anything stay if it was a potential distraction." Maeko said, shaking her head.

"The music room sounds like a good idea, people'll be using the library to study. Do you want me to help carry them?"

"Yes please. It was heavy carrying it to school this morning." Misaki told her with a smile.

"... That's a really nice thing you're doing. It was... a tragic thing to happen."

Kouchisei was standing behind Aoi in the corridor. His arms were crossed and he was looking at the display on the floor. Apprehension hung on the air. He was fairly sure the teachers would move the display to somewhere more fitting. They might do a memorial. Seeing Sato at his desk wasn't leaving his mind.

But he'd come to think about his mother. It was selfish, he supposed.

Misaki turned and smiled at Kouchisei warmly, "Thank you Oubai-senpai. I thought it might help other people. But Maeko-senpai said that I won't be able to keep it here. I thought that the music room would be better."

Silent for a moment, Kouchisei thought he'd better get out of the way. They'd be needing this corridor soon, when people needed to get to class. He let out a long sigh and looked at her.

"Need some help?"

Misaki grinned brightly and nodded, "Oubai-senpai! I'm glad to see you, and Maeko-senpai and I were going to carry it together, but three of us would be that much better!"

She was happy when people offered to help, it made her feel like she was really doing something.
