Shopping Thread Shortpost version gooooo

Why: Because clothes are good to have

Continued from here.

Winterwear at Subako was the first section the group visited, with all manner of coats and hats and scarves hung from the racks the team was weaving through. With tremendous distaste and a certain sullenness, Kiriko was doing something strange, foreign and almost unheard of for her: Checking price tags.

"Anybody find anything?"

	Kozue wasn't looking hard; her attention was directed longingly towards the shoe department, but she had determined to stay with the group out of politeness. "I don't know. I don't like hats." 	Seiko was rifling through a rack of scarves determinedly, avoiding anything pink or pastel coloured. Instead holding up a turquoise scarf she turned to the others. "I don't know, does this colour suit me?" She eyed the scarf suspiciously just in case it was somehow secretly cute or adorable, she did not want to look like a nursery teacher anymore. 	"Cute," said Kiriko impassively, with barely a glance up to look. She shoved the coats aside with altogether more force than they deserved and trailed Kozue to the nearby shoe section, just across the aisle. "You're surrounded by like, 18 girls, stop complaining." 	Kozue turned around to assess the question, ignoring Reizo's complaint. Obviously, he could deal with shopping with the right incentives, as she'd discovered. "Hmmmmmmm." The mmmm trailed off. 	Reizo was already tired, and already in a bad mood. No cigarettes, surrounded by girls giggling over shoes and clothes, being used as a pack mule and monkey bank.. but Kozue's mention of lingerie perked him up. He quit leering at employees and people passing by in the windows to look hopefully at Kondo. "Lingerie's important." (Reply to this) (Parent)

Optimistic Reizo was only a little less scary than normal Reizo. He tensed when Kiriko asked her question. Wheels turned in his head. He could offer to pay for everything as a huge bribe to get them to go, but .. even if he did, would it be worth it? A glimpse through a changing curtain was all he would get, realistically.

He kept looking hopeful, but he also brought his wallet out. It bulged frighteningly, and when he opened it there was a noticeable stack of cash flowering out of the top of it as well as several credit cards. He took his time in removing a few bills from his wallet, then finally closed it and slid it back into his pocket, and eyed the box Kiriko had neatly tucked under one arm.

"Lingerie's really expensive," he said, a soft little smirk tugging at his mouth. The offer was there, if anyone had watched (and given how long he took doing it, chances were high most did), and Kiriko couldn't beat him silly for it because he had only suggested going there, and surely she of all people knew just how important underwear was in any girl's arsenal.

	Kou was walking past that store's section on his way to another; he heard familiar voices and his thoughts were admonishing, don't look and keep moving, but his head was turning to gawk. Not getting lingerie now just meant getting it later. Kozue shrugged, unperturbed, and continued her hunt for shoes; at least, until she saw a familiar silhouette walking through the store. She watched Oubai turn to walk away, and couldn't find a good reason to prevent it from happening. "So, what next, then? And do you think I should get these?"

She raised the pair of pumps—they had little flowers on the toes, which had drawn her attention immediately.

Seiko had had her hand pressed against her temple during the whole lingerie discussion deciding keeping quiet was the best way to avoid incident. Though a voice in the back of her mind was reminding her that lingerie really was expensive and it was always better to get anything for free. She ignored that voice for the time being and glanced at the shoes Kozue held up.

"I don't know, what would you wear them with?"

She herself was holding a pair of high electric blue heels casually from one hand.
