Ikeda Kiriko | 池田 妃凛子 ([info]apathyisboring) wrote in [info]disappear_rpg,
"Of course he would have, and he would have made his decision over something petty." Kiriko leaned back against the bench. She was thinking of Kozue, really - she couldn't be sure whether or not he would throw her to the wolves for her double-sin of appearing hafu and dumping him, but it was among the justifications she had cooked up after the fact. "Plus, he was willing to let Shirai just die in there, so whatever he might have to say about team unity is garbage."

When the topic shifted, her demeanor did as well. The complaints about her teammate, she made with ease and without hesitation, but feeling suddenly under scrutiny caused her to lapse into a not altogether friendly silence. The meaningful trailing was unwelcome, and exactly the kind of unwelcome she had anticipated having to deal with, since Reizo had gone and busted their non disclosure agreement. It bothered her immensely to have people guessing at her intentions and feelings, especially before she'd even had a chance to put words to them.

Her back straightened slightly, her eyes sharp and her gaze direct. She refused to surrender control of the conversation.

"I'm fine," she answered shortly, continuing in warning tones. "The rest of it is none of your business."
