Who: Misaki and Kou
Where: Sky Park early morning
When: Nine Thirty after Announcement of Seiji's demise
What: Talking
Why: Because Misa wants someone to be blunt with her.

Sitting under a tree dressed in dark colors of purple and black, Misaki played with the remains of the necklace that had been given to her by Seiji. When she had heard the announcement it had caught her off guard completely. Shock had given way to tears which were now starting to turn to anger. Why had they done it, as she was sure that Hikaru, and who ever the other angels were, had gone and killed Seiji for talking. She hated herself for not being able to protect him. Even with all their powers, he was dead, and there was no way to bring him back.

She ran her fingers around the cord and wondered what they had done? She wanted to do twice as worse to them, make them pay for all the horror they had created. But what could she do? She wasn't the strongest of the group at all. Sitting back on the bench she was occupying Misaki looked up and bit her lip. Why had she agreed to any of this? Because she wanted to help, right? But now that they couldn't stop another death, what good were they really?

She wanted to throw the cord away from her, and started to raise her arm to pitch it, but then paused. It was something to show that Seiji had been a real person, and she wanted to keep it. So for now, she balled it in her fist and waited brooding over what to say to Kou when he came.

Kouchisei had been sitting in the coffee house of the Sky Park a few floors underneath, reading a medical journal of discoveries and opinions; he had been watching his macchiato vanishing, emptying the cup and cooling. Wiping his mouth with the napkin his palms laid flat on the table and he pushed himself up to stand.

His fingers no longer picked the cuffs of his clothes to keep him distracted; he was no longer visibly surprised that somebody like Misaki wanted to see him here. It was out of his way and he did not feel like he wanted to help. His gaze moved, taking in the open-air park from left to right, and it was easy to find her due to the lack of people.

Arm movement? The only way he knew to keep his senses was to be quiet and listen. She could get this off her chest, and he could likely give her some good advice. But she was sitting under a tree, and those were not the manners he had been raised with. He sat down in the nearest chair and merely looked at her.

"I suppose there's a reason you got me all the way up here, so let's hear it," he said.

Misaki slowly raised her head and stared at him for a long time. Her eyes had the redness of someone who had not slept in days and she pulled out the remains of the necklace from her balled up fist to show him. She sighed outwardly bit her lip.

"I don't know why I kept this. Maybe it was because I wanted to have some proof that we were really going in there. Now it's because I want to prove that he did exist. I sat by him all the time Oubai-senpai. Saw him every day. He was real, right? We weren't just dreaming the Seiji-kun we saw, right?" Her voice was a whisper of what it normally was, and there was hesitance in the way she acted.

Flipping the cord over and over she asked him quickly, "How do you deal with it? The pain of knowing that a person was there and then just as suddenly they're gone?"
