Kozue, on the other hand, was familiar with the sports arena, at least passingly so. She'd dated a fair number of athletes, baseball players included, and they seemed to really enjoy watching the sport they spent all their time playing. What was even more perplexing, from where Kozue was standing, was that they also, by and large, thought that she would enjoy it as much as she would. And thought that 'baseball game' was anything but a boring date with the excuse for a bit of inter-inning shopping in the upper levels of the Iburi Sports Dome.
That was where she'd gone when they'd first arrived—that, and to get a snack, because a baseball game was the perfect place to quietly gorge on stadium food while everybody else was focused on the game. Now, carrying a plate of takoyaki and a soda, Kozue descended into the seats. She stood out in the crowd, lacking clothing or accessories that were even remotely Bacon Soldiers oriented; she'd even avoided the Bacon Soldiers official snacks, which included all manner of inappropriate things wrapped in the team's mascot meat. They had smelled awful.
On her way there, she caught sight of Toshi, in the hallway; juggling her snacks a little, she managed to raise her hand and wave. "Hey, Nawanaka-senpai!"
