Who: Open
What: Masami's birthday
When: August 19, during beach episode
Where: Beach house, other places?
Why: Beach Birthday~

Masami looked around her room in the beach house, digging through her bags and clothes, but even after well over half an hour of searching, nothing turned up. She must've left it somewhere else by accident.

Elsewhere, the lost object in question, Masami's phone, was ringing. Masami had apparently missed three calls so far. Whoever was calling her was apparently pretty persistent.

Her birthday was off to a phenomenal start.

Maeko had found a phone dropped on the beach. She had been meaning to 'has anyone lost a phone' at dinner, not wanting to invade privaccy by checking it. But when it rang for the third time it stuck her than maybe whoever had lost it was calling it to try and listed for the ring tone or something.

"Hello?" She asked, picking up the call.

The voice on the other end of the line obviously belonged to an old lady.

"Hello? Masami? Everyone's here to tell you happy birthday!"

"Ah, sorry! This isn't Sakuraba-san! But now I know it's her phone I'll be able to return it right away! Do you want me to ask her to call you back?"

It was Masami's birthday? That was nice. It sounded good to have a birthday somewhere like this.

But hadn't Masami seemed upset before, back after the cold? Maeko didn't speak to her much so had no way of knowing is she was any better. But if she was still upset then maybe a party would cheer her up! And parties needed...

Hats! Parties needed lots of cute hats! She had brought craft paper to the house to practice her origami again that she could use to make hats. She could just make a bunch of them and hand them out at dinner and that would make it a party!

MAKING HATS/PARTY PLANNING/FAIL

Maeko hummed cheerfully at the currently empty dining table as she glued paper together to make party hats. This was going to be an awesome party! She could do this for sure!

Misaki wandered down the stairs from her room, a trail of crenolyn followed her down as she tried to see if she had enough for all the dresses she was going to make before they left. Stopping before going into the dinning hall she noticed Maeko making paper hats and stared at her puzzled for a moment.

"Maeko-chan? What are you doing?"

"I'm making hats." Maeko said as if it were not obvious, motionning to the growing pile of party hats. She had clerly once again mastered the art of making frogs out of paper, as the hats were decorated with small origami frogs. And sequins. She seemed to be content with hat making.

Kanaye, deciding that he actually needed food, had gone out of his room. On his way to the kitchen, he had entered the dining room, and raised an eyebrow at Maeko and Misaki. "Maeko, what are you doing? Why are you making hats?" He asked, moving towards them. "And what're you doing here, Misaki-san?"

Kanaye was confused. But it was something to do. "Can I help?"

"Huh? Oh, it's because it's Sakuraba-san's birthday! She's seemed kind of down recently so I figurured if I made hats we could have a party to cheer her up, too!"

She nodded and motionned to the coloured and patterned craft paper. "Sure!"

"It's Masami-senpai's birthday! What did you figure on doing for the party?" Misaki asked excitedly as she sat down across from the others and started to play with the sequence. "Is there any way I could help?"

Kanaye laughed and nodded, sitting down. "Yes! Alright, this'll be fun! Masami will have an excellent birthday!" he shouted, getting to work on making paper hats.

"For the party? I was making hats." Maeko said, noding to herself. They had hats at parties, right? She'd been to two that didn't have hats and they'd both ended in disaster, after all.

Masami had spent the better part of the day searching up and down the beach for her lost phone, but as of yet she'd had no luck. It was getting dark, though, so she figured it was a better time to check inside the house.

When she came back in though, for some reason the lights in the room where everyone usually got together were all off...
