Who: Hal and Lily Where: Near the restaurant where Lily works When: Thursday June 24, noon What: Hal goes out to look for supplies and sees Lily who is about to get attacked by le zombies!
Hal clearly wasn't the type to sit still in a state of emergency, he wasn't going to sit around and wait for things to stop just because someone had told them to on the TV. He wasn't watching TV anyway, and he wasn't listening to the radio. When it came down to it, he needed things to continue to keep Rhea safe from the zombies. While he would have much rather had her come with him, he knew it was too dangerous to risk such a thing, so he regretfully departed from Rhea and went back to the streets. He looked even more wild than the day before. There was no point in wearing different clothes when he was going back out to fight the zombies again, so he had on the same blood soaked clothes from the day before. He had taken one of Rhea's scarves to tie around his face so he wouldn't have to smell the stench of rotting corpses everywhere. If he focused on the scents, he usually didn't realize that there were zombies in the area.
He did have some ammo left for getting around, but there was a very big difference in the way he was acting today than the way he acted the day before. He was making more efforts to remain somewhat hidden. If he didn't have to waste what he had, then he wouldn't. At the same time, he couldn't exactly ignore it if someone was in need of help. There was a hardware store down the street, and that was where he was planning on going, until he saw a girl walking down the street. His first thought was that she had to be bitten, who just walked around in the middle of this zombie outbreak? But as he watched her, he realized that bitten or not, she seemed to be on a mission just like him. He was going to the hardware store, and she to a restaurant. Maybe she knew what she was doing. Maybe he didn't have to worry.
