Who: Sam and Matthew What: Matthew is lost and Sam helps him find his way home. Where: Sam's neighborhood. When: June 13th, 6:30pm
Sam hadn't felt this good in awhile. The whispers had died down a little bit, and between her positive developments on the Theo front the night before and the fact that it was such a nice day out, there wasn't a whole lot that could bring Sam's mood down. Smiling, she looked around. Every now and then she'd see a winged someone flying across the sky and she was both intrigued and interested in trying on her own. Maybe tonight. She'd figure it out.
After quickly pondering texting Theo to see if he wanted a visitor, Sam decided that no, she didn't want to seem clingy or ruin things by overexposure, so she decided to just talk a walk. She did that all the time, anyway. It often ran her into some interesting people (case in point, the day she met Theo), so why not? Sliding her hands into her pockets, she started down the street, moving toward town. That was where everyone would be anyway, so why not start there.
Her eyes were skyward, which made it easier to ignore the people who were questioning her being there, being bold enough to walk about like she was. She wasn't bold, she was just human and bored of staying inside. Her eyes lowered, but the smile was still very present on her face as she told herself to ignore them. Maybe they weren't jealous, but it was sad that they had nothing better to do than question her and why she was walking around like a normal person. That was her right just as it was theirs, and no one was going to make her feel otherwise.
