Who: Sebastian & Matthew
Where: Tulane Medical Center
When: June 12, around 10am
What: Sebastian meets a familiar-looking stranger.
Sebastian flashed his crooked smile at the doctor as he left the exam room, carefully shutting the door behind himself. The smile faded as soon as he started off down the hall toward his room; he was getting tired of tests and x-rays, and he was especially sick of being asked to explain how he was healing so well. He didn't know. Oh, he suspected the 'angel healing' that had been mentioned on both forums, but there was no proof save for his father's constant state of exhaustion. And things seemed odd today - they were both glowing nearly twice as bright as usual, the glow filling the room even when the lights were off.
He sighed, tucking his long bangs back behind his ear. At least he was in a normal room now, which meant that he could receive visitors. Thing is, no one will be expecting that to have happened so soon. I should call Oren. Sebastian's hand went to his pocket, fingers closing about the familiar plastic case of the cell phone.
A muffled excuse me from behind Sebastian drew his attention, and he turned around, reflexively pulling his wings in to allow the other person to pass. "Sorry."
The rest of Sebastian's apology caught in his throat as he met the stranger's eyes. He was obviously another patient, a man about his age with messy blond hair and blue eyes. The other man smiled a bit nervously as Sebastian stared, fiddling with the corner of his notebook for a moment before continuing on, disappearing down another hallway.
He looks like Mark... but that's not possible.
Sebastian was rooted to the spot for a minute, debating. He shouldn't bother someone just because they happened to resemble Mark. But if he didn't seize the opportunity to speak with him, he'd likely never see him again.
"Hey, wait!" Sebastian hurried toward the other hallway, hoping the other man hadn't already entered one of the rooms.
