"You don't have anything to worry about," she told him softly. "The Healers wouldn't have let him come home if they didn't think he was okay..." Of course it was hypcritical. She was just as worried and not just about the now but about the future too. She didn't know how to be a mother and time and time again she asked herself what right she had to bring another child into this world.
His touch both helped and hurt. It reminded her that he was there with her but it also reminded her of how she'd betrayed him with the raising of their twins, how she'd let him down. Not for the first time she though of running. Of leaving the country and her family as they would be better off without her around.
