Esras wasn't the kind of person who could usually be pacified by calming words, he didn't find much comfort in them and in his experience, for the most part, they usually turned out to be lies. Icarus was the exception though, when Icarus told him that it would all be okay he believed him even though he knew that it might not all be okay but if Icarus cared enough to lie to him about it that was all that mattered.
When Icarus wrapped his arms around his neck Esras re-situated his arms around Icarus' slender waist. "I know" he muttered and returned Icarus' kisses. "It just kills me sometimes that I don't know how to handle her. She's my baby sister." he whispered. He didn't enjoy talking about it and he certainly didn't feel comfortable discussing it with anyone but Icarus. "You and Ben usually pick up my slack in that department." He gave Icarus quick kisses several more times before he moved his face down to Icarus' neck and kissed it once. "What do you say to bed?"
