When Icarus wrapped himself around his arm a sudden wash of comfort washed over Esras, he'd just felt so awful about the way he handled his sister. Sure, he may have been skeptical of her and Ben's relationship at the start but he'd learned to accept it over time and he didn't mind Ben so much...actually now that he thought about it he enjoyed his company in the surgery and to be quite honest he'd never seen his sister happier. He couldn't imagine how he would feel if Icarus in that room and he supposed that it was something one couldn't (and wouldn't want to) imagine with out having had it happen. He looked back to Ben's door for a second then looked back down to Icarus and led him upstairs taking special care to make it easy for Icarus to stay attached to his arm, Esras didn't express much but physicality was where he made up for lost time.
When they reached the bedroom Esras shut the door behind him with his foot and removed Icarus from his arm as swiftly as he pulled him back into him and held him close to his chest. He didn't care if he was squishing him or if he couldn't breathe, he just needed to hold him for a minute. He exhaled and stopped holding Icarus quite so tightly but didn't take his arms off of him, "I'm sorry." He said and settled his arms around Icarus' waist. "I just... I don't know what to say to her." he muttered and leaned down to bury his face on top of Icarus' head.
