Well, it certainly hadn't been all hair braiding and nail painting since Esras had authorized Attie's big move upstairs but Icarus didn't mind in the slightest. He'd been up to his elbows in boxes of her belongings, trying to help sort through it all and decide what would stay and what would go into storage but mostly he was there, as he usually was, for moral support. And to make sure that the lack of activity didn't drive her completely insane.
The buzzer from downstairs cut him off before he had a chance to do anything but grin. He spared an off-handed glance toward the direction of the buzzer and paid it no more attention. That thing was the bain of his existence, but not even that sound could detract from the fact that Attie had snuck in relationships to the conversation. "We're.. really good," he beamed a little. "Things have been great." Without going into all the gory details Icarus shrugged and grinned and let that say everything.
