Action Scene: Harry meets Snape at Dumbledore's tomb

The note had been explicit--meet at Dumbledore's tomb in an hour--but Harry was still sitting in Gryffindor common room. He had nothing to say to the man. He had no answers for him. If Snape wanted to talk to him so badly, he could bloody well come and find him instead. He knew he was being petulant. There just was no reason that Harry could see that he and Snape had to speak to one another.

That was the other problem, Harry held no illusions that any meeting between him and Snape could go well. The appeal to meet Snape, especially at so volatile a site, was slim.

Snape paced in front of Dumbledore's tomb, cursing Potter for being late. After ten minutes, he knew that he wasn't going to show up at all. He gripped his wand tightly, knuckles going white.

He had warned Potter not to make him come looking for him, but he obviously he wanted to do this the hard way. Lip curling in to a snarl, he went in search of the idiot.

Snape hoped he didn't run in to any of Potter's family, because it wouldn't be a nice meeting. At all.

Harry exhaled slowly as he drifted in and out of consciousness. Sleep tugged at the corner of his mind and his eyes were growing heavy.

He had picked up a random book to pass the time forty-five minutes ago and after ten minutes of reading he had begun to feel tired.

The will to stay awake to make sure Snape didn't kill him once found was the only thing keeping his eyes open. He couldn't even muster the need to lift his head when the portrait hole opened and someone stepped through.

	Snape took in the scene as he stepped through the portrait hold. Potter was lying there, with Snape's note sitting next to him on the table. Angry color rose in Snape's cheeks. "Have you lost the ability to read, Potter?" he snapped. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Harry shrugged. "And this is why I didn't meet you down at Dumbledore's tomb. I don't have any answers for you." He ran a hand down his face and scratched at his chin. 	Snape's brow was furrowed in thought, attempting to figure out who else might have found the stone. But it wouldn't matter, they'd have no idea what it was, or what it could do. No, it call came back to Potter. "I need to know what happened after I was killed. Where did you go, and what did you do." He'd read the Prophet's article, but it had very few details. 	Harry sighed and started to collect his thoughts. "Well, the obvious is that I killed Voldemort as I'm sure you've noticed. The less obvious is that I did it using Expelliarmus. An odd thought struck in that moment. "Then perhaps we aren't alive at all. Perhaps we're all dead and this is my punishment, spending the rest of eternity with the people who hated me most," he said softly, thinking of Potter, Lupin and Black.

And Lily. The only person he had ever truly cared for, only to have her turn her back on him. Choosing Potter and his cronies over him.

"I'm in hell."

"Do you intend to hide away in this tower forever?" Snape asked, eying Harry carefully. "Oh, but your dear parents are back from the dead. You can all be together, a happy little family, Godmutt and all," he sneered.

Why the idea of it made him so angry, Snape couldn't have said, but he loathed it. The thought of Harry with that lot, his mind being twisted and turned by Potter and Black.

	The words were like a physical blow, because Snape knew they were true. Hogwarts was no longer his home, and all things considered, he doubted it would even be a job anymore. It was true then. He had died and gone to hell. His face became a mask of stone as he rose to his feet. "Don't do me anymore favors, Potter," he spat before leaving the tower in a swirl of robes.
