Sirius returned to Gryffindor Tower after leaving Remus at home, tired, dirty and worn out. He wanted a shower and sleep and oblivion and not necessarily in that order, he thought as he climbed the staircase to the showers.
Sirius stripped off his towel, flung it over a chair and looked around the room. Sighing, he decided he needed to find himself a place to live, somewhere other than Hogwarts. Showering in the boy's showers had been an experience he hadn't thought he'd be repeating in his lifetime. Shaking his head, he dug through his robes and pulled out the bottle of liquor he'd snitched from Remus's house. It had been fairly simple to do. His lover had gone to check on baby Teddy and he'd just shrunken and slipped the bottle into his robes. He'd owe Andromeda but he knew Remus would understand.
He peeled off the label and cap, took a long swallow, shaking his head as the liquor burned his throat. Damn, it had been a long time since he'd gotten knackered. He had plans on doing so now. James had done so and even Harry, the little sod, who kept running off without telling anyone, had taken a turn with the bottle and Sirius decided his turn was now. Alone, where he was safe to do so. He set the bottle down, and after casting a cleaning charm on them, pulled on his boxers.
Sirius placed his wand in the nightstand beside the bed and flung himself on the bed. He picked up the bottle and took another drink. It had been a stressful time with Remus and the full moon, since he'd become alive again, really. Now it was time to decompress. He drank down another swallow and closed his eyes as the liquor began to flow through his system.
