The Wizarding World Mourns
Though it has been a few days since You Know Who was defeated, the Wizarding World still feels the the aftershocks of his horrible reign. Families are burying their dead (see page 4 for full list of funeral dates) while businesses rebuild. The acting Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, has this to say, "We will rebuild and we will survive. Wizards and witches are a hardy people, you know."
Diagon Alley is currently under construction though Gringotts, the Leaky Cauldron, and Ollivander's are open for business.
The exact death count from the Battle of Hogwarts is still rough, even though it has been days since that event. The new Headmistress Minerva McGonagall has no comment about the count or about the brave heroes who perished on Hogwarts grounds. Curious.
