The fact that Kevin was buoying her attempt at positivity instead of shooting it down made her feel better, calmer. And so her posture relaxed a little, although she stayed tucked neatly on the other end of the couch. Although Jubilee knew the very real danger of Kevin's powers, she considered it more a courtesy to him than a method of self-preservation.
