Okay, he could smell and see the tension in her form. He knew she wasn't happy about Ororo talking to her a few weeks ago, but it had been wrong for him to leave it to her. It was his problem and he should have dealt with it earlier.
Now came the hard part. Jimmy had never rejected anyone before. Not really. And there was no putting her off nicely, because he'd tried that, for weeks.
"I want-," he took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay as calm as possible. "I want you to stop coming on to me." There first sentence out. "I am not attracted to you at all. I don't want to have to keep hiding from you and everyone else because I can't make you understand this."
