Things were getting back to normal, so it meant that the both of them were getting back to their respective work. Tramp was back to fixing the houseboats and other things while she was back to her sewing and alterations. Not exactly such a key job as Tramp's repairs, but it was work. She kept everyone in clothes which was important enough in its own right. And really...there wasn't much else that she could do besides take care of children. There weren't very many children among the Runners, so it wasn't something in demand. But that didn't much matter. She was content doing her work. Being the tribe seamstress and taking care of her son. No matter what, she got to see Tramp whenever he was home and they all spent time as a family. Things between her and Tramp were perfect. Sure, she had a lot to do having to take care of Jack for most of the day, but she never felt overworked. It was responsibility that she had no problem with.
"As a matter of fact, we have not. So we shall have to go wash our hands then," Lady said with a smile as Tramp playfully shook a finger at her and Jack. She picked up her son then, once again settling him against her hip as she took him to wash up. "Alright, Jack. Wash your hands real good! You can't eat pancakes with dirty hands!" she said, adopting the playful talk as she helped the little boy get his hands all clean. Once they both had washed up, she brought Jack back, seeing the plate with the pancakes. And it didn't really seem like enough for all three of them. Concerned, Lady came over, using one arm to support Jack and placing the other on Tramp's shoulder.
"Aren't you going to eat before you go?" Of course, she had the instinct to make sure that everything was alright with both of her boys. "I mean...you don't have to, but it would make me feel better if you did..."
