Tramp laughed as he mixed the ingredients together. "Thank you for the vote of confidence champ! And I don't think mommy's cooking needs any improvement; just a break sometimes," he explained over his shoulder with a wink at his beautiful girlfriend.
Now that the war was over, Tramp had been working steadily with the rest of the tribe: fixing up motors, engines, and repairing many other various items with their boat houses and around the general area. Lady had been left mostly alone with Jack, getting back into her sewing routine probably, he honestly hasn't been paying attention to that detail. Tramp was mainly focused on just being with his family whenever he was home, and trying to keep what him and Lady had strong and even. He never wanted her to feel like she was overworked in anyway. Hence why he was making breakfast that morning when he barely had enough time to finish up the cooking and get out the door to start his day.
Tramp flipped the browning pancakes to their doughy side. "Almost finished, have you two washed up yet?" he asked over his shoulder. "If not, then go wash your hands while finish up the last batch," he said, shaking a finger playfully at Jack and his mother. Tramp placed the last of the fluffy pancakes on a plate with his spatula; the stack being just enough for Lady and Jack. Tramp needed to do a rinse of a shower, dress, and head out the door, so he'd just wait til lunch for something to eat. So long as his family was taken care, he was fine, and work was one of those things that kept them taken care of.
