Lady was somewhere in between peaceful sleep and wakefulness, laying on her side and facing away from her love after having moved some time in likely the wee hours of the morning. The sunshine coming in through the window spilled over her face, placing a gentle glow on her skin. She felt Tramp move closer to her, but it wasn't quite enough to completely rouse her out of sleep's hold.
His voice, however, was. She heard him whining about not wanting to get out of bed because he had so much work to do. Him poking her almost made her giggle, but she was still too sleepy to do so. Little by little, she was waking up. After all, it was hard to ignore her boyfriend, most especially when he was whining. Her lips curled into a little smile when she felt his kiss on the back of her neck. Quite honestly, she wouldn't have minded just staying there with him in bed. But she heard the sounds of her son starting to stir. And a mother couldn't ignore her child. It was instinct.
Lady started to get up, rubbing at her eyes, but she felt Tramp's hand on her shoulder. She looked back at him, smiling some. "Thanks...I'll be out in a minute, though." She kissed him back before he got out of bed to go see to Jack. She laid back down for a bit, taking the time to stretch and really wake herself up.
Meanwhile, Jack was looking at his daddy, a big smile on his face. His little hands were holding onto Princess Emily, his bunkmate in the overhead sleeper. "I slept good, Daddy!" he said with a grin. "And I dreamed too! All sorts 'a stuff, but a whole lot about you and Mommy!"
