Mac gripped the door handle to the fridge. He wasn't biting, he simply wasn't biting. Even Jax would've thrown her against the wall by now. Granted, Jax barely tolerated any of her back talk now, but still, he could be a controlled man when he needed to be. No matter, two could play that game. If she couldn't insult him one way, she'd find another.
"Just curious," she said, popping her head out from the fridge, "that a crime now?" She went back to investigating the contents and got her second idea for invoking.
"What was for lunch? Hopefully nothing poisoned or rotted," she snarled, smiling to herself at her manipulative move.
