Great- Now Libby was against her as well. So much for the possibility of having one person see from her point of view. Now it was three on one and Gemini had no chance of making them see that she could do this. Worse, her temper was getting the better of her: she was having a hard time restraining it and repressing the infantile urge to stamp her foot. Running a tense hand through her still sleep-disheveled hair, she turned her attention to her half-sister, who at least had had the decency to offer an alternative location in the case that all of Gemini's plans were ground into the dirt.
"Och... Aye Libby, the bars will be great for welcoming the customers, won't they?" Gem couldn't help the sarcasm in her voice at this point. "people from all tribes will travel across town and see bars on over windows and think 'Oh! What a pleasant little shop that is! Lets go in and see the wee lass that plays with leather scraps and can't protect herself from the big bad dogs!' Oh, aye, my dream of making a difference in this town will come to a quick finish then, now won't it?" Sucking in a deep breath, Gem tried to steady herself- to keep her voice from rising and her temper from exploding onto the breakfast table. She supposed she could see the logic of looking around at other buildings... but she knew what she wanted and the Shipwright's Arms possessed exceeded every expectation of what she could have found in city. Did Libby really think she could find a place closer that wasn't in shambles? Especially a place with enough room for a workspace, a shop, and an apartment. Gemini stood, unable to look directly at the stubborn Saint without feeling her temper rise, and began to pace the far side of the kitchen.
"Thank you, Libby, for at least offering an alternative... but, honestly, what are the chances of finding a place that better suits my needs in a place that, now if not before the war, is in absolute shambles?"
