Re: Tag - Gem then whoever. sorry it's taken a lifetime
Gemini nodded a good morning at Libby as she entered the room, not daring to take her eyes of the Irishman at the table. He was so still, so solemn as he mulled over what she'd suggested... this wasn't going to end well.
To her surpirse, his voice didn't raise, his face didn't turn red.. his eyes read something more than the quiet reproach he uttered but he didn't vocalize the fire there. She cleared her throat and quashed the desire to roll her eyes. The last thing she needed was for the three at the table to think her childish. She could be calm and she could be reasonable.
"Saint, it's a good solid structure with a large furnace that happens to still be intact. There's enough room for a shop, a store, and an apartment. What more will I possibly be able to find in town? Not to mention, th location is as ideal. It's smack dab in the middle of the town, a ghra. That's where I'll get the most buisiness. And it's still south of the moun- the Jackal's territory. What more does it need?"
There. She thought she'd done well. She'd kept her temper. She'd been rational and quiet. Maybe this could end her way.
