Ryder gladly took Bear's invitation to come in. Although, he was rather wet and remained standing just inside the door. He motioned that he was all right as far as needing the furnace, even though he was shivering a little. Though some of his trembling was from his anxiety about leaving town the next day. He still had quite a few things to get ready. He also felt like a total jerk for asking Bear at the last minute, and so he didn't ask right away.
He wrung his cold hands and smiled at Bear. "It's been awhile, man; sorry I've been kind of distant. I heard you're doing pretty well though?" Ryder grinned and winked. He took off his coat and hung it next to the door before finally joining Bear at the table.
