Week Fifteen - Sunday Who: Cricket, Kahea, and Gent What: Cricket wants to meet pretty dancer girl When: Sunday afternoon Where: Gent's boat Rating: TBD Status: In progress
Sunlight streamed in through the gold lace curtains of her little room, hitting Cricket's eyelids directly. She squirmed and rolled away from the offensive light, burying her face in the many colors of her blankets and cushions. But her eyes sprung open as the events from the night before bloomed in her foremost thoughts. Gent had been hiding a very pretty, and very talented, girl from her, she thought as she sat up in bed. Not that she blamed him. With the way the new girl moved, Cricket would have tried to monopolize her time if given have a chance. Changing as quickly as possible out of her white cotton pajamas, she wrapped herself up in a sari that closely resembled fire. The dress started with a deep red at the bottom, then faded into hot orange, and then into bright yellow at the top. She adorned her light sienna wrists with gold bangles and tied some of her dark chestnut hair back out of her eyes. Looking at her attire, some might have assumed that today was some sort of celebration for Cricket, but those who knew her also knew that every day was an excuse to get dressed up for Cricket.
After pulling on some sandals, Cricket left her boat once more to see what Gent was up to. She crossed gracefully over to his boat and practically floated up to his main door. "Gent? Gent, you up yet?" she called in her Indian-British mix of an accent while she knocked on his door. Surely the man was up by now. It was nearly noon, and if he was still fishing, her commotion would have scared his prey away. But hopefully she had not startled the mysterious beauty Cricket was sure was still hiding on Gent's boat.
