Week Fourteen - Saturday Who: Hazard and Hollywood Where: a room in a hospital When: afternoon What: hanging out
What a week. Lots of hard work, swings, confessions... it was enough to cause his head to ache for a few days. Hazard needed a break from physical labor and there was no better way to relax than to hang out with his good friend Hollywood. He went to their usual spot in the hospital, a room on the upper floor, as they had promised to meet up when they were done with everything. Lying on the bed, he hung upside down and pulled a rubber ball out of his pocket to start tossing it in the air. It bounced off the ceiling and he caught it with ease.
It was not long before he heard the door open and tossed the ball to what had to be Hollywood coming in through the door. "Hey," he said. "I have things to show you." He could not believe his luck today and he hadn't been doing much, just doing the normal rounds. This amount of treasure was incredible. Hazard got to his feet to head over to the corner, pulling a small box towards the center of the room. "See, I was patrolling down the street and a pile of rubble that looked a little weird caught my attention. So I went over, started to dig and found this! It must have been from a store and no one thought about looking underneath a bunch of stones for a really long time."
A grin appeared on his face. "Haven't opened the box yet cause I thought you'd want to see for the first time too. And you get first dibs on stuff." It was one of the many benefits of being Hazard's friend and chances were there were things they both could use for traps, etc. He sat on the floor next to the box and opened it, catching his breath without realizing it. Little surprises like this were still important and even better when shared with a friend. After they browsed and plotted over things, Hazard had a question for Hollywood... a somewhat serious and important one.
