Re: Tag: Saint?
It had been far too long, too long since he'd held this angel in his arms. She fit just like she used too, smelt like he remembered, her voice an evangelical sound to his ears. His heart hammered as she clutched to him, so glad to find that she was okay, "Oh thank you god," Saint whispered burying his face in the crook of his neck, "I thought I'd lost you," he breathed outna heavy sigh of relief, "I'm so glad you're okay," he checked her over, scanning for anything that was different, marks, injuries and when he found none he clutched her to him once again. She'd been too long apart from him.
Saint was soo busy embracing his lost love that he wasn't even aware of wolf until the man bellowed at him, he looked up slightly startled but then his face relaxed somewhat, explaining did need to be done. He swallowed, "I have alot of nerve huh?" he mumbled, laughing in bitterness, figures his unfortunate association with a tribe that had caught him early would cause him trouble when they left...though it wasn't like they'd done it voluntarily...or alive, Saint shuddered. "I met Libby while the Lions had her in locked up in the lodge, I knew they'd done it to get to you and when the other tribe came in to," he paused gagging at the thought, "I took Libby with me and came here," he nodded towards her, "I lost a good friend trying to rescue her," he couldn't help feel indignant about the whole thing, but maybe it was because he was soo overwhelmed by everything that even a moment interrupted between him and his woman was risky.
"I don't seek refuge if you are so stark against it but I couldn't stay there," he grimaced, "I couldn't leave her there to die, not when I knew she had a loved one back here who would crumble at her death."
