Gemini smiled lightly as she tied of the edge of the leather braid and stuffed her left-over scraps into her bag. it didn't surprise her at all that Shadow was a medic... or that she made house calls. She was so serene that just her presence in a house was likely as effective a medicine as any herbalist could offer.
"I am significantly impressed that you give so much of yourself to people, Shadow. Not too many survivors are capable of putting others before themselves... of helping people even if it means unintentionally stepping into the rain... Oh! Would any of these friends of yours happen to have raw hide or scraps of leather to spare? I'd like to make some measure of contribution to the tribe... but i need material... even a junk yard would work if there's no one else with anything to spare."
Gemini straightened and smiled at Shadow. How was it possible that she was so comfortable with her? She hadn't felt this open towards a stranger in years... But Shadow was so lovely, with her wide, expressive eyes and spunky hair... Perhaps she was a kindred spirit. For a moment, Gemini almost felt like whimpering... Please, be my friend...
