Week Thirteen Who: Wolf and Jace What: Wolf offers Jace and Bishop a permanent place to stay. When: Wednesday morning Where: Wolf territory
The unrest within Wolf’s tribe was never far from his mind. It wasn’t like he didn’t hear the rumors that were being spread concerning his relationship with Grey. Their fight at the farm hadn’t exactly been a silent affair and for all Wolf know that Dusty guy probably hadn’t kept his mouth shut. The food supply/ labor trade had not slowed between the farm and the city but things were tense and those Wolves from the farm avoided Wolf while the city Wolves avoided Grey.
With everything going on in his life Wolf was looking for anything stable to count on. It had been months since he’d agreed to shelter the two drifters from the wrath of the Mountain Lions and thus far there had been no negative consequences for his actions. Yet, he wasn’t so stupid as to think that the Lions would so easily give up on the drifters who’d offended them. The Lions did not forgive, they always remembered and they let their grudges build up and up until there was nothing to stand in there way. Wolf had been well aware of such facts upon letting Jace and Bishop stay with his people, but he wasn’t going to let the Lions intimidate him into cowering away from his duty to uphold justice.
Despite everything that had been going on in his personal and tribal life, he’d kept a fairly close eye on the drifters. Jace seemed to have fallen nicely into his role as a guard and any other physical task they had asked him to help with. From what he’d heard Bishop had been willing to help when asked as well. These facts and his reasonably decent mood brought him to Jace and Bishop’s apartment door on Wednesday morning. He knocked and awaited an answer.
