Looking over at him, Bishop laughed. "Either way, it's annoying. I get that their curious, but I also think they're taking advantage of the fact that we're unarmed." She figured that it was more of a combitnation of the two. They hadn't done anything outright agressive, or crazy, since they got there, so people had decided that they were safe enough to talk to. Since the people in Sundance probably didn't see a whole lot of new faces, they were eager to hear about what went on outside their little world. Nothing wrong with that. Bishop just wished they had someone else to hear it from.
She took his hand as he spoke. Over the past few weeks, she'd gotten used to Jace's mini-rants. It was best to just let him talk and get it out of his system. Which was exactly what she did, idly tracing her fingers over his palm. He hadn't been like this on Christmas, though she'd kind of expected it. Then again, Jace never reacted like normal people did. It figured that he'd care more about New Years. He did have a point, though she wasn't quite as passionate about it.
With a grin, she nudged him playfully. Despite the fact that she'd spent the last few hours cooped up in a room with people that she hadn't decided to like yet, Bishop was in a pretty good mood. Everyone else's cheer must have been rubbing off on her. "Does that mean you don't have a New Year's resolution?"
