Kenji was not surprised by the lack of detail in Christian's answer. Most people these days were reserved as a means of self protection, and others simply had nothing to speak of concerning their pre-virus past. It was understandable and even expected to receive such a vague answer from someone. After all, he'd left details out himself.
By now he believed that he knew all the names of the tribes and was a little surprised when Christian used the name of the river tribe in reference to himself and his own boat when moments ago they were talking about being unsure about the area.
Kenji threw a glance back at the Trading Post. He was hungry and he'd come for food but things were awfully busy and he supposed that he could wait a little while longer. Besides, the heat almost made him lose his appetite. "Sure, that sounds cool." He smiled and stood, shouldering his pack. "Show the way." As he stood it occurred to him that he should probably be a little more on guard with this fellow. He didn't know him after all, but something about Christian had made Kenji want to give him the benefit of the doubt.
