Kenji shrugged with a half-smile in the affirmative. To say that duty was his thing was a gross understatement. He'd more or less remained loyal to a dead family for almost four years. Whether that was duty or insanity, Kenji himself wasn't even sure.
He had to think for a moment when Christian asked his next question. What else did he do? Well, he followed Sumi, he worked out, and mostly just laid low. It was kind of pathetic when he thought about it for long. "Uh..." He couldn't help but crack a smile and laugh at himself. "Not much. I practice my taijutsu and explore a bit here and there, but nothing really to speak of." He paused. "I didn't exactly have a lot of control over things before the world changed and...I don't know, I guess I'm still trying to find my way around." He shook his head and looked at Christian for some kind of support. "I know this must sound pathetic coming from a twenty-two year old."
Kenji suddenly realized that they'd only been talking about him. Kenji never talked to anyone about himself, and now he felt rude. "How about you? What's your story?"
