There was a part of Kenji that didn't mind the company. He was more or less alone most of the time and hearing another person's voice made him feel a little more human. On the other hand, the time that he'd spent in America had been fairly isolated and he wasn't quite used to the friendly and informal ways in which people dealt with each other. No one could say that he wouldn't try though, if someone bothered to approach him.
"Kenji." He said, making a mental note to leave out the honorific and only give his first name. He also held out his hand for a shake. He was surprised to hear that Christian wasn't from around Sundance, considering there was something in the way he'd first presented himself that had suggested otherwise. Maybe he was telling the truth, or maybe he had a reason to lie. Either way, Kenji was determined to be polite. "Sundance seems like a nice place, even just to pass through. Is this place usually so busy?" He said with a nod behind them.
