She could not stop herself from smiling as Reina inquired more about her plan. Dahlia sat up a little straighter, the smile spread wide across her features. "An entire production." she said excitedly. "A couple of numbers with all of the girls onstage, and any girl that wants her own can come up with a routine. Costumes, lights, the whole shebang."
"Costumes won't be too hard," she continued. "I can alter clothes that I already have, or I'm sure I can find some material at the Trading Post. Make-up, I have plenty. Choreography, I can take care of easily. Basically," Dahlia stopped for a beat to take a breath. "Just leave most of it to me. The only other thing to worry about is someone to work the lights and maybe some security at the door." Though with women like Reina and Poe around, Dahlia knew security was hardly ever an issue. "The only other thing it would cost on our end would be our time, but I promise you it will be worth it."
"As for revenue, obviously it should be more than what one would pay on a regular night. But I'll leave that for you to decide since you're a much better judge on payment than I am." Truth was, Dahlia would have been satisfied doing it for free if it meant being able to do what she loved. But it wasn't just her that was going to be working on this, and even though Dahlia would have done it free of charge, she knew the other girls wouldn't see it that way. Which was fine with her; after all, they would deserve to get paid for such entertainment, because when Dahlia was through with all the details, she was sure it would definitely going to be a night to remember at The Palace.
