Jed sauntered into the barn casting relaxed looks all around him. He was surprised when he realised it was slightly warmer in here than it was outside and the walking he had been doing, to get here, was making him even warmer. So as he walked further in he shrugged off his jacket and threw it over his shoulder.
Jed had to admit that the thought of a cage fight was something his old self would have loved. He still loved the thought of a boxing match but to the death almost made him miss staged wrestling. In a bizarre thought he expected that any minute now The Rock would make a grand entrance...though thinking about it now The Rock was probably dead. That was a strange yet tragic thought.
He ran a hand through his hair, and looked around the barn, once he had taken up space leaning against one of the far walls. He could see Gypsy talking to a girl on her left and when he looked closer he realised the colourful splodge next to her must have been Moe. He smiled, pushing himself off the wall and made his way over. As he did so he spotted Silver standing in one row of chairs talking to a man he didn't recognise and for a moment he almost changed direction just to find out who this guy thought he was, talking to her. Although jealousy was an ugly and non-existent word (mostly) in Jed's world, he was over denying his soft spot for her yet continued over to Gypsy and Moe's spot.
He noticed Gypsy eyes were dark as she viewed the cage and he realised the two boys getting ready to fight were nothing more than scrawny kids. He had made a few bets with some guys from other tribes, petty things mostly, because you had to see out a few fights before you knew if it was worth betting with the big boys. "They're just kids." he muttered taking a few steps more and then stopping next to Moe.
