Danni could lie and say she wasn't nervous to crash the party. She could pretend that the fact that they were on neutral territory gave her a bit of comfort. But she was never one to outright lie, unless it really mattered. It seemed as though the other three were incredibly confident in what they were going to do. She looked beside her where Ace was standing.
The mere idea that they would be separate for the night didn't help her nerves either. Reaching next to her, she held onto Ace's hand, a secret signal him of how she felt. There was no one else she trusted with her life than Ace and she knew he'd protect her through the night. Not as though she'd need protection, since she did know how to defend herself, but there was comfort in the idea of knowing that they were entering an area where they were all hated and he would be there.
She was wearing a beautiful red feather mask that she had worn during one of her dance recitals in college. She had spent well over an hour perfecting her hair, which was now in a complex updo with spirals falling down spiradically. Her lips were a deep crimson to match the mask. Her dress was simple a simple black wrap and her feet were protected by simple black flats. It wasn't much of a costume, but she could get away with it.
Squeezing Ace's hand, she looked again at him, trying to draw a bit of his confidence. Peri had left with Wolf and it was time for their entrance. She was still a bit unsure about what her part in this was supposed to be.
